About Me

I’m a Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (Integrative Health and Wellness Coach) and received my training degree from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.  I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the Academy of Sports Medicine and have a Culinary Degree from the International Culinary Institute of New York City.

I grew up cooking and have been interested in fitness most of my life. But to be honest, understanding what it meant for me to be healthy came much later.  As a child, my family dinners always consisted of an animal protein, a starch, and a vegetable.  We believed we were following the recommended guidelines for what constituted a nutritious meal.  In college, I yoyo-ed between being a vegetarian and eating highly processed junk food, marketed as ‘health food’.  It wasn’t until I worked at a supplement shop in Burlington, VT that I made the connection between what we put in our bodies and how our bodies actually felt.  Sure we know that staying up late and eating junk food is going to make us feel worse, but our bodies are like a machine, and they need to be cared for with more attention than just filling up with gas if we intend them to go the distance with us.

As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, my focus is on taking a holistic approach to help clients identify and achieve their wellness goals, such as losing weight, increasing energy, managing stress, or naturally alleviating symptoms of digestive stress. I believe that most of us are living below our potential and that the status quo should not be our benchmark for the lives we can live.  Every day we make hundreds of unconscious decisions as a result of habits we’ve cemented overtime.  By taking small yet meaningful steps towards changing those daily habits, we can change our lives. My passion is in empowering you to take ownership of your experience and guide you towards creating positive and lasting lifestyle changes that enhance your everyday life.
